Course Overview
The Filmmaking intensive course is designed to give learner a solid foundation in the key areas of filmmaking. Learners will have the opportunity to learn the basics of writing, directing and editing. The course covers the basic elements from story writing/screenwriting and directing the scenes to operating a mobile or DSLR with further development to editing, by using a standard software.
The course is further catered to serve the needs of all students regardless of level, to gain an understanding of the filmmaking requirements as well as experience the excitement of filming a scene in a group with assigned film crew roles.
Course Objectives
Write, direct and produce a scene or short film. Know how to write a story with screenwriting format. Have a hands-on experience on the camera equipment. Shoot a small scene by applying the strategy of designing a shot and shot selection to produce a film. Assemble the scene and techniques to edit for final video.
