Digital Literacy includes App Design, App Development and App Innovator modules that teach children how to design and build new functional apps. It is curated based on visual, block-based programming in order to allow students to program without the obstacle of syntax errors found in traditional text-based languages. From dragging blocks into a composition to joining and animating sequences, children would learn to code the interactive, fun way. The program permits students to create fully functional apps for smartphones and tablets. It operates on a graphical user interface (GUI) very similar to Scratch (programming language) enabling the users to build an application by dragging and dropping objects that define the core components of a mobile or web application.
